Building on the undoubted success of the previous events; Shale UK will be held once again on 23 – 24 June 2016 and will feature as part of the International Festival for Business being held in Liverpool. Shale UK offers a unique perspective on the potential of shale oil and gas in the United Kingdom as the conference examines both the geology relevant to shale development as well as the commercial rationale. The Geological Society will provide their expertise in ensuring that the 2016 programme is the most relevant with expert speakers drawn from industry, government and academia to give delegates the very best information, essential for decision making.

Shale UK 2016 will present new developments including an update on the latest licensing rounds and how the UK is shaping up in a global context and the effect of the dramatic increase in oil shale production.
